Terry Doyle was named Pitcher of the Week in the Cape Cod League this week. He had a no-hitter and had 16 strikeouts in his two starts combined. This is a serious boost to Mr. Doyle’s accomplishments in this great summer season he is having. We can hope that he does this type of performance next season when the Eagles make a run for a Tourney berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Jared McGuire was struck in the head by a pitch on Friday night but was back in the lineup on Sunday after missing one game.
