St. John’s pitcher Scott Barnes may be a high pick after a great year. I would put him up there with the 10 best. Keep up the good work.

Bowman is not in the category of the five above.

Bowman went 6-3 with a 2.73 ERA for VMI in the Big South. We can always argue about pitchers and we will see what happens during the season.

Dunno. I, for one, think LL is the real deal. Great speed control on his array of pitches. That said, I can’t really say which of the five listed I’d kick off.

Then again, I’d just as soon put Mikie Minor on there… so I’m 1st a Vandy homer and 2nd an SEC homer.

For what its worth, I definitely would have put Lance Lynn in that mix, but I guess at some point you have to cut it to five.
