Baseball America ranks top programs

Share

Baseball America writers Aaron Fitt and John Manuel put out an article ranking the top programs in the BCS conferences while including traditional baseball power conferences in C-USA and the Big West. The article ranks programs with a letter grade from an A for excellent to an F for failing. Some of the schools that received the A standard were Miami, FSU, Stanford to name some. Duke and Pacific are among a few schools that received an F for a grade. The full article is available in PDF format by clicking here.

  • I think giving U. Conn an “F” was a bit harsh, at least off the past two seasons, they have been a decent team. No that they deserved anything higher than a “D” – but it is not like they have been an embrassment to the conference.

Seton Hall on the other hand….

  • Georgetown has been a disaster even when I was following Providence College.

  • Nice link; thanks for the article. What is the early word on Georgia? After enjoying a nice CWS run two years ago, last year was a bit of a mess. What about Texas?

Chip A.; not sure if giving an “F” is too harsh, but I actually like a publication (or site) that is willing to actually use a full grading scale. Too many places take the easy way out and give D’s (or similar rating), so as not to offend.
