I think some of you need to wait a little longer to make your predictions. Not all teams have posted their rosters and biographical data on-line. I think the conference will be a bit surprised by Hartford once play begins. And, how can you put UMBC above Hartford when Hartford swept them in 2007. You guys need to do more homework. In fact, Hartford is 7 and 1 in play again UMBC. Szymanski has never had a run scored against him and only 6 hits from UMBC. If you do a little checking you might find no one has even made it to 3rd base from UMBC against Szymanski. Let's not discount Moraski and Greiner who both had excellent outings against UMBC in 2007. After some more thorough research I predict you'll find Hartford surprising this year making it to conference play and possibly winning! Look out!

Some of the coverage by SID's is definitely below average for baseball. A sneeze in the football or baskeball programs is headline news... We need more respect.. Thanks for the covergae Brian

When an ACC program at BC has a GA or a senior covering baseball it is a problem.

People in the Northeast take college baseball very casually. It is shame, cause there are some good programs, and people who do a good job, but...

And it is not a Division breakout either - cause there are some DIII's that do a good job, and some I's are pathetic. Depends on the AD, coach and SID.

Agreed. What BA did in ranking the confernces/programs, somebody should do for the smaller conferences. I think what some of the SIDs do is, frankly, unprofessional, when it comes to baseball.

The schools that are good to work with are usually very good, but there are a lot of bad ones. Websites that are not updated, press releases that make no sense, etc.

Stony Brook was actually decent last year in getting results up, so I was surprised by the roster. Maybe they are doing some maintenance, and pulled down the old one and never replaced it.

St. John's is a wierd one, as it seems like the link is always changing. Seton Hall needs improvement, and St. Peter's from the MAAC is very lacking.

Great preview Brian. Don't know how I'm going to find the time to give the SEC it's due regard. Maybe I'll start this weekend. As a preview, Ole Miss is my team to beat... and LSU is my surprise. Though I have no idea where I'm going to put them. I also think the East comes down to USC, VU and the surprise in UGA.

We will see...I just can't believe I look at their roster and it lists it as the 2006 roster. That is inexcusable.

Expect Stony Brook to overschedule, and get off to a bad start, but they usually have some decent players and rise to mid-top of America East. They should have a few pretty good players coming back from a season ago.
