I hope so. I missed him last year (Hill and Dinga I did see along with Navy's Mitch Harris.)

Interesting story from Gotham Archives, two+ years ago, when it was first proposed to cover college baseball - Mark Healey - the current EIC of the magazine and website - thought it was a waste of time.

Down at Yankees camp, he was doing a story on Yankee minor leaguers, and here comes the Army team to play a game. (The Yankees allow Army to use their complex for a week every spring, and they play a few games there. This year's series with U. Mass was there.)

Anyway, Hill pitches, Healey watches the game with a few former Yankees, including Tommy John, and comes away impressed and is into our coverage.

Moral of the story - if they see it - they like.

One other thing - Cole White was just as hot as Murphy with the bat, and probably could have won the award, except he had a terrible week on the mound.

He is working his way back into shape, so it is unfair to criticize too much, but when he had weeks where he has hit and pitched well, it catapulted him over the top.

Plus Murphy was red-hot once again.
