The CBB has come across 7 more College Baseball Schedules- Michigan, Columbia, Gardner Webb, St. Louis, Kansas, Southeastern Louisiana, and Virginia Tech.

Gardner Webb will play 36 home games out of a 56 2009 College Baseball Schedule. First up on the slate will be 4 game series against Canisius staring on the 20th of February.

Gardner Webb will get the Atlantic Sun Conference started with a series against Presbyterian. They will wrap the season on May 14th against Winthrop and then the Conference Tournament will start the following weekend.

Michigan Announces Challenging 2009 Schedule

University of Michigan baseball head coach Rich Maloney announced today (Sept. 17) the Wolverines’ schedule for the 2009 season.

The three-time defending Big Ten Champions face up to seven games against 2008 NCAA Tournament qualifiers and will host a record 26 home dates during the 2009 slate. Additional highlights of the schedule include the inaugural Big Ten/BIG EAST challenge, the Jacksonville University Tournament, a weekend series at the University of Arizona and a trip to Port St. Lucie, Fla., for a repeat matchup with the New York Mets.

“This is another challenging schedule for us; one we look forward to with great anticipation,” said Maloney. “We are excited to take part in the inaugural Big Ten/BIG EAST Challenge in addition to some other strong early-season tournaments that we feel will give us an early indication of where we are for the 2009 season.” FULL STORY

Kansas Baseball Unveils 2009 Schedule

Kansas head baseball coach Ritch Price announced the Jayhawks’ 2009 schedule Wednesday. The 56-game regular season includes 27 contests at Hoglund Ballpark, including games against Big 12 rivals Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Nebraska and Kansas State.

KU’s 2009 ledger includes 26 contests against teams which qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season as well as showcase games at Rosenblatt Stadium (April 14) and Kauffman Stadium (April 22).

“I know our players are really excited about our 2009 schedule,” Price said. “They are all looking forward to the non-conference match ups with Missouri at Kauffman Stadium, and Creighton at Rosenblatt Stadium, along with our spring trip to Arizona State and San Diego State. With non-conference games with national powers Arkansas and Wichita State, along with our Big 12 games, this schedule should be ranked among the nation’s most difficult.” FULL STORY

2009 College Baseball Schedule- Kansas

Head Coach Darin Hendrickson and the Billikens of St Louis have put together a 53 game Schedule with 28 of those being home games. Coach Hendrickson and the Billikens will get their 2009 campaign started with a tournament in California on February 20th.

The First conference series for the Billikens will be a road trip to Xavier and then they will wrap the conference on May 15th against Road Island.

Columbia Announces 2009 Schedule

Head Coach Brett Boretti and the Columbia Lions have announced their 2009 slate. Coach Baretti and the Lions will open their campaign in Beaumont, Texas against the Lamer Cardinals in a 4 game series on February 27th. The Lions first home game is not until March 24th when they take on St John’s in a single game contest.

Coach Boretti and the Lions open the 2009 Conference on March 28th against Harvard. They will wrap up conference play with a series with Penn on April 26th. The Ivy league Championship Series will be held on May the 2nd and 3rd.

Virginia Tech Has Released Their Schedule

Head Coach Pete Hughes and the Hokies of Virginia Tech have released their schedule for 2009. It is 56 game slate that will get them to compete in very competitive ACC. They open up conference play on March the 6th with a road series against Duke and will wrap it up on May the 14th against in state rival Virginia.

Jay Artigues Head Baseball Coach and the Lions of Southeastern Louisiana have put together a 55 game schedule with 29 at home. Coach Artigues have games scheduled against LSU, Alabama and Tulane just to name a few. Plus they play in a very competitive Southland Conference.
