The College of Charleston baseball team will hold its annual Fall World Series, Oct. 31 through Nov. 2 at Patriots Point Stadium in Mount Pleasant.

Cougar fans and former players are encouraged to come out and share the fun of this unique three-game series that will be the culmination of the team’s fall practice schedule.

Monte Lee is in his first season as head coach of the Cougars. Lee, who played right field for the Cougars from 1996 through 1999, was the first position player drafted in school history after batting .333 with 22 homers, 150 RBI and 66 career stolen bases. Lee was selected in the 39th round by the Cardinals in 1999.

The Cougars finished the 2008 campaign with a 39-20 overall record and a 19-8 Southern Conference mark.
