HOUSTON – Head baseball coach Rayner Noble recently announced that the annual Alumni Game has been scheduled for Feb. 7, 2009 at Cougar Field.

The day will begin with batting practice at 10 a.m., while the game is slated to begin at 1 p.m. Immediately following the game players and their families are invited to a post-game meal and continued fellowship while the 2009 baseball team will take the field for an intrasquad scrimmage.

Cost to participate in the game is $30. The cost includes your meal, refreshments, t-shirt and hat. The cost for additional guests will be $15 for adults and $7.50 for children 12 and under.

Participants are asked to RSVP with Brandi Clark in the Cougar Pride Office by Jan. 30, 2009. Clark can be reached at 713-743-9456 or by email at brclark2@central.uh.edu.

The Cougars open the 2009 season Feb. 20-22 when they play Kansas State in a weekend, non-conference series at Cougar Field. The series begins at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 20, continues at 4 p.m. on Feb. 21 and will wrap up at noon on Feb. 22.
