(Victoria, Tx) The Victoria Generals of the Texas Collegiate League continue to build their new franchise and are announcing 3 additions to their roster.

Head Coach Chris Clemons, will bring three he knows well because they play for him at McLennan CC near Waco, where he’s the Assistant Coach.

The trio Clemons is bringing to Victoria for the Generals inaugural season are:

Brian Nephew- (1B,3B,LF)

6′2″ 215 Sophomore right handed power hitting corner infielder from Arlington, TX. Brian played third base his freshman year at McLennan. He will play third and first base during his sophomore campaign. Brian has committed early to the University of Texas-Arlington.

“One of the best clubhouse guys I have ever been around. He has a work ethic that is contagious. He is a great addition to the Generals’ roster.” said Clemons

Steven Singleton- (C)

6′0″ 185 The freshman is a right handed hitting catcher from Florida. Steven will be the starting catcher at McLennan this spring.

Said Clemons: “Steve is as good of a catch and throw guy as I have seen. He is a leader behind the plate. His offense will get better with every at bat.”

Collin Reynolds- (RHP)

6′4″ 215 Freshman, right handed pitcher from Frisco, TX. “This big guy will be a major part of the pitching staff here at McLennan.” said the coach about Reynolds.

“Collin has a power arm, and will be used this season as a closer to showcase his great arm. Consistency has been a problem but he gets better each time he is on the mound.”
