CBB Spotlight Series: Houston College Classic

It’s that time of year again.  Some of the nation’s best teams flock to Minute Maid Park for the annual Houston College Classic.  This year the loaded field consists of UC Irvine, UCLA, Baylor, Texas A&M, Rice, and Houston.  With five of the six teams ranked in the top 10 of various polls, this has all the makings of a true “classic.”  The College Baseball Blog will be attending some of the games this weekend and have reports on the daily happenings.

Here is a look at the weekend schedule along with projected starters (all times Central):

FRIDAY

12 P.M. – Texas A&M: Brooks Raley (So., LHP, 1-0, 1.50) v. UC Irvine: Daniel Bibona (Jr., LHP, 1-0, 1.17)
