  • In his last two starts, Rusin (2-1) has struck out 21 hitters in 13 combined innings … On the year, Rusin, a 2008 first-team All-Southeastern Conference starting pitcher, has posted a 3.63 ERA in 17.1 innings, striking out an SEC-leading 29.FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

  • His second home run of the year was the fourth in Auburn’s four-home run first-inning against Brown on Friday, giving him home runs in back-to-back at bats…Had entered the week hitting .194 but came out of the weekend with a .277 batting average.
