PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior first baseman Andrew Clark of Louisville was named the BIG EAST baseball Player of the Week, while sophomore right handed pitcher Chris Pack of Villanova was tabbed the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week.

Clark led Louisville to a 4-0 week by hitting .375 with a double, a triple, two home runs, seven RBIs and seven runs scored in the four games. He hit safely in all four games and had at least one extra-base hit in three of the four. He went 2-for-5 with two home runs, including his second career grand slam, to help Louisville to a 15-6 win against Bowling Green on Feb. 27 to begin a three-game series sweep of the Falcons.

Pack scattered three singles with one walk without allowing an earned run to get the win in Villanova’s 13-1 decision against New York Tech on Feb. 28. He worked 5.2 innings and totaled five strikeouts before leaving in the sixth inning with a 2-1 lead.
