LSU has got this. I think they’ll win in 2. Their performance has been completely dominate whereas Texas has generally only won their games by a point or two. With Coleman on the mound, it’s a no-brainer that LSU should win this game. I don’t think this will be a close game.

I think LSU wins in two, but only if the score is not close. A close game favors Texas and a key error could sink the Tigers. That said, I think LSU wins in two by a large margin.

I would take LSU in two because they have the edge in starting pitching plus they’re lineup is more likely to get that big inning needed to chase a starter. Even with less coaching experience at this level I believe that LSU has done well in this series and Texas has run into a few probles with ASU and TCU.

I think LSU in two because they’ve been playing well the whole year and especially on this latest run. I think they have the edge in starters and will be able to outscore Texas, but I expect the games to be close. Texas has the edge in coaching experience but LSU has been able to overcome any team they’ve played. And while Texas was resilient against ASU and TCU I think they run out of luck here.

Great breakdown.

I look at Texas’s run, and it seems like no matter what cross them up, they find a way to come back and win. Part of me wants to say that this means that they’re due for a letdown, but you could also say that this points toward a team destined for a championship.

LSU looks great. Their defense in the CWS is as good as any college baseball fielding has ever been. The bats are hot, and the pitching has been pretty good too. But I think it’s going to all come down to the luck of the Longhorns.

I’m a Tiger, so I’ll predict LSU in 3 very good and nerve-racking games.

I think people are underestimating how good Louis Coleman is. The kid is a freaking man playing with boys and I want to see what he can do at the next level. I really love the guy’s attitude plus LSU’s bats are substantially better then the Longhorns bats.

LSU in Two. Texas has an outstanding team, I just think LSU has the mental and physical muscle to handle any type of late inning comebacks. Texas has lived on the edge for several games throughout the championship rounds but have not faced the one through nine tough outs that LSU presents. LSU pitching will prove too much for a mild hitting Texas squad. With only one starting lefty pitcher for Texas facing the left handed power from LSU will also be a problem for Texas. LSU has struggled against lefties all year but have dominated right handed pitching. Sorry UT not this time.

LSU doesn’t have to take the series in 2 games. I don’t know anybody out there that would take Green or Jungmann over Ranaudo.

Thw two best pitchers for each team are on the mound today. Ruffin had a rough start in his only appearance while Coleman had a great start. Both have been great all year.

Give me the Tigers in 2. Austin Ross shows why he is worthy of being an SEC starter in game 2 tomorrow night.
