J.T. Wise wins 2009 Johnny Bench Award

WICHITA, KANSAS – Another successful Greater Wichita Sports Banquet has come to a close for the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission. The 12th annual event featured Johnny Bench, former Cincinnati Reds catcher and Hall of Famer, as he presented the Coleman Company-Johnny Bench Award to University of Oklahoma catcher, J.T. Wise. Chris Henderson of George Mason University and Tony Sanchez of Boston College were other finalists for the award.
