Duquesne, Delaware Release 2010 Schedules

The Duquesne Dukes will spend the first six weeks of the season on the road in 2010. The Dukes start the season with a weekend series at South Carolina (Feb. 19-21) before flocking to Winter Haven, Florida, for a Spring Break trip beginning Feb. 27. Duquesne will pick up single games against Central Florida (March 2) and West Virginia (March 9) before traveling to UNC-Wilmington (March12-14). The games away from home continue with a mid-week game at Kent State (March 16) and a spot in the George Mason Tournament (March 19-21). The Dukes then wrap up the road haul with a game at Akron (March 24) followed by the opening weekend of Atlantic 10 play at George Washington (March 26-28).
The Dukes get their first home game against Youngstown (March 30) before their second conference series when they trip to La Salle (April 2-4). The Dukes have two other conference road series: Xavier (April 16-18) and Fordham (May 20-22). Duquesne will have a home heavy conference slate as they welcome Saint Joseph’s (April 9-11), St. Bonaventure (April 23-25), Rhode Island (April 30-May 2), Richmond (May 7-9), and Temple (May 14-16) to Pittsburgh.
The Delaware Blue Hens begin the 2010 campaign with an entry in The Citadel Tournament against Kansas State, The Citadel, and East Tennessee State (Feb. 19-21). The Blue Hens then make a trip to Maryland to take on the Terrapins (Feb. 26-28). Delaware will then begin a long stand at Bob Hannah Stadium as they take on Saint Joseph’s (March 2), Manhattan (March 5-7), Holy Cross (March 13-14), Delaware State (March 16), Fairleigh Dickinson (March 19-21), and Wilmington (March 23).
The Blue Hens begin conference play at William & Mary (March 26-28) and have other road conference series at George Mason (April 23-25), James Madison (April 30-May 2), and Old Dominion (May 14-16). Delaware will welcome conference foes UNC Wilmington (April 9-11), Towson (April 16-18), Hofstra (May 7-9), and Northeastern (May 21-23) to Bob Hannah Stadium. The Colonial Athletic Association Tournament will be held May 27-29.
