South Carolina Fall Series starts on Thursday

Columbia, S.C. – It will be a baseball extravaganza this weekend at Carolina Stadium as the Gamecocks close out fall team practice with the Garnet & Black World Series. First pitch for game one is Thursday night at 7:15 p.m. with game two set for Saturday at 12:15 p.m. and Sunday’s finale a 1:30 p.m. start. The team will have the day off on Friday for the Alumni Game that is set for 7 p.m.

Senior right-handed pitcher Jay Brown will manage the Garnet squad while senior catcher Kyle Enders will serve as manager for the Black team. Both players selected their teams. Admission is free of charge to the Garnet & Black World Series and to the Alumni Game.
