WesternCarolinaEliadaHome Cullowhee, N.C. – Members of the Western Carolina Catamount baseball team took time out of their end-of-semester schedules to spend a couple hours visiting the Eliada Home in Asheville. The team took a positive message to the youth in attendance at the home.

Founded in 1903, the Eliada Home is a non-profit agency dedicated to the mission of helping children succeed. Located on a historic 200-acre campus in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Eliada Home serves children and families through a diverse spectrum of programs and services, including residential care, child development services, foster care, community support services and therapeutic recreation.

Western Carolina returns to individual practice in preparation for the 2010 season in January, with official team practice commencing February 1, as per NCAA regulations.
