CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Three weeks into fall practice, the University of Miami baseball team is set to play its Third Annual Orange-Green Fall World Series next week at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field. The best-of-three intrasquad scrimmage series begins on Monday, Nov. 9, followed by game two on Wednesday, Nov. 11 and game three on Friday, Nov. 13.

Share The CBB continues our countdown for the 2010 College Baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be providing one player per day until we reach number 1.
We continue the list today with number 76 in our countdown with Clemson junior outfielder Kyle Parker. He is from Jacksonville Florida and Bartram Trail High School where he played four years of baseball and football. He was named All-State and All-County as a junior as he skipped his senior season of baseball to enroll in the winter of 2008 as he accepted a football scholarship to play for the Tigers.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia associate head coach Kevin McMullan has earned the 2009 ABCA/Baseball America Assistant Coach of the Year Award, the ABCA and Baseball America have announced. McMullan helped Virginia win an ACC Championship and reach the College World Series last season.
McMullan will be presented his award at an honors luncheon at the national coaches’ convention in Dallas on Jan. 9, 2010.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland baseball team will hold its inaugural Black and Red "World Series" Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Shipley Field.
The three-game, intra-squad scrimmage will cap off fall practices, and mark the first full-squad scrimmages held under first-year head coach Erik Bakich. Game times are set for 6:00 p.m. Friday, and 1:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. All three games will be free of admission and open to the public.

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State baseball team will put the finishing touches on fall practice over Halloween weekend with the annual intersquad fall world series. Game times will be 6 p.m. on Friday, October 30; 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 31; and 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 1.
The series will be an opportunity for fans to get a first-hand look at the 2010 team and its nationally 11th-ranked recruiting class. The Wolfpack has 15 newcomers, 11 freshmen and four junior college transfers. Many of them have had impressive falls, and will be pushing for playing time in the spring.

ATLANTA - Highlighted by five Atlantic Coast Conference home weekend series’, Georgia Tech baseball’s 2010 schedule as announced Wednesday by head coach Danny Hall includes 10 teams that participated in the 2009 NCAA Tournament.
The Yellow Jackets open the 2010 campaign with eight games in the first 10 days, beginning with Missouri State for a three-game weekend series, Feb. 19-21, at Russ Chandler Stadium.

We continue the list today with number 84 in our countdown with junior 1B/3B Mickey Wiswall of Boston College. He is a 6’0 207 pound left handed hitting third baseman who comes from Stoneham, MA and Belmont Hill where he played high school baseball. He played for three seasons at Belmont Hill under Edward Gallagher where Mickey hit over .450 in each of his seasons while totaling 11 homers and 64 RBI in his career. He was named to the Inner City League All-Star Game and was an AAU All-American.
