WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest baseball team will close its 2009 fall practice with the Black & Gold World Series, which begins Sunday at Noon at Wake Forest Baseball Park.
All games of the series will be played at Wake Forest Baseball Park and are free and open to the public.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A season-opening, 13-game homestand and 30 games against teams that advanced to the 2009 NCAA Tournament highlight the 2010 Wake Forest baseball schedule, as announced by head coach Tom Walter on Thursday.
"Anytime you have a schedule where 30 of your 56 games are against NCAA Tournament participants from the year before, it’s obviously a very competitive schedule," Walter said. "Last year, the team had a lot of success in the non-league games. This year the key is to be more competitive in ACC games, with the first goal always being to make the ACC Tournament and the second goal being an NCAA Regional berth."

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State baseball will conclude its fall season with the 24th Annual Garnet and Gold baseball game Thursday and Friday, October 22 and 23. The scrimmages will take place over two days and are free to the public.

Clemson, SC – Clemson will play three Orange & Purple baseball scrimmages this weekend at Doug Kingsmore Stadium starting Friday. Admission is free to all three games.

Share Baseball America has put out their incoming 2010 Recruiting Class Rankings which are led by the University of Florida. Stanford comes in at the runner up spot with Arizona State, TCU, and Cal-State Fullerton completing the Top 5.

Clemson, SC – Thirty-five home games, 27 games against 2009 NCAA Tournament teams, and three games at Fluor Field in Greenville, SC highlight Clemson’s 56-game, 2010 regular-season baseball schedule, released Tuesday. The Tigers, who will play 17 of their first 21 games at home, will also play South Carolina in a three-game series at three different sites over one weekend in early March.

Share Florida State Sports Information Student Assistant Ultima Rogers continues his series of interviews with FSU baseball players today with Rafael Lopez. He is a redshirt-junior who spent his redshirt freshman season with Boston College before transferring to Indian River Community College. He made the transition at FSU to the catching position last season and had his ups and downs.
