Rutgers Baseball Announces 2010-2011 Recruiting Class
PISCATAWAY, N.J. (November 19, 2009) – Rutgers head baseball coach Fred Hill has announced the signing of seven scholastic standouts to National Letters of Intent.
The group includes infielder Nick Favatella (Washington Township, N.J.), outfielders Joseph D’Annunzio (Scotch Plains, N.J.) and Brian O’Grady (Warminster, Pa.), catcher Michael Zavala (Randolph, N.J.) and pitchers Charlie Lasky (Freehold, N.J.), Slater McCue (Radnor, Pa.) and Andrew Sullivan (Monroe, N.J.).

Utah signs Eight for 2011
SALT LAKE CITY – Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg announced the signing of eight student-athletes to National Letters of Intent. Five high school players and three junior college transfers will join the Utes next season. Coming from high school are Trey Nielsen (3B, Skyline HS, Utah), Cory Hunt (2B, Jordan HS, Utah), Ben Mordini (RHP, Cherry Creek HS, Colo.), Luke West (RHP, Juan Diego Catholic HS, Utah), Josh Alexander (OF, Mountain Pointe HS, Arizona) while James Brooks (SS/Utility, Cochise College, Arizona), Derek Christensen (RHP, SLCC, Utah) and Dustin Hobbs (RHP/Yavapai College) are the junior college transfers.

HARRISONBURG, Va., Nov. 3, 2009 – A four-team tournament in Myrtle Beach, an extended trip to Florida, a home-and-away series with Virginia, 12 games against 2009 NCAA Tournament teams, and home night games for the first time in program history highlight the 2010 James Madison baseball schedule released Tuesday.

The ODU Baseball Monarchs head coach Jerry Meyers announced the 2010 schedule which will feature games against schools from 10 different conferences, including league champions Elon from the Southern and East Carolina from Conference USA.
The Monarchs open the regular season on Feb. 19 at home with a three-game series against Fordham. CAA play begins, March 26-27 against CAA tournament champion Georgia State at home.

Hempstead, NY- Second-year Hofstra University Head Baseball Coach Patrick Anderson today announced the 2010 Pride schedule, which features a series against a NCAA Tournament qualifier.
Hofstra will again undertake a challenging non-conference slate, including a season-opening three-game series against Troy University in Alabama starting with an Opening Day tilt Feb. 19.

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Matchups against longtime regional rivals East Carolina, N.C. State, Elon and Coastal Carolina highlight UNC Wilmington’s 2010 baseball schedule, according to 19th-year Seahawk skipper Mark Scalf.
"I think we have a solid schedule as we continue to try to play the best opposition we can," said Scalf. "We have a good mix of teams that will prepare us to reach our goals as a program this season."

Hempstead, NY – Hofstra Head Baseball Coach Patrick Anderson today announced that James Lally and Kelly Haynes would join the Pride coaching staff as assistant baseball coaches.
Lally, who will serve as the Pride’s pitching coach, spent the 2008-09 academic year at Archbishop Molloy High School in Middle Village, New York. Lally served as an assistant baseball and basketball coach in addition to his duties as a teacher’s aide.

Share Head coach Bill Brown has released the 2010 George Mason baseball schedule. The Patriots will play thirty one home games at Spuhler Field this season, including twelve CAA contests.
George Mason will begin the season in Rock Hill, South Carolina, as they play a double round robin tournament with Northwestern and Winthrop (Feb. 19-21). The following weekend the Patriots will have their home opener, as they host Monmouth (Feb. 26-28) for a three game set.
