Kristaps Aldins was introduced as an assistant coach at Harvard by Joe Walsh. Aldins enters his first season at Harvard after completing four seasons on the bench at nearby Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
At MIT, Aldins worked with the Engineers’ pitchers, catchers, and outfielders. Aldins was also responsible for all facets of a nationwide recruiting process. During his stint at MIT, the team compiled an overall record of 82-63 with a program-record 25 wins in 2008. In 2006 the Engineers advanced to the NEWMAC Championship Game for the first time in program history and earned a bid to the ECAC Tournament.

PRINCETON (10/6/09) — The Princeton baseball team has announced the nine members of its Class of 2013 that are on campus and competing in the team’s fall practices. The group of players will have an immediate impact on the Princeton program when games begin in early March.
"We are very excited to have this group of players join our team," says Scott Bradley, the Robert H.B. Baldwin ‘42 Head Coach of Baseball at Princeton. "It’s a group of hard-nosed and tough players that have excelled in some of the toughest high school programs and leagues in the country."

PRINCETON (9/22/09) – The Princeton baseball team’s first trip to California in nearly 20 years and seven home dates highlight the 2010 Princeton baseball schedule.
The season kicks off with the weekend of March 5-7 when Princeton visits Elon for four games. The Tigers will open the weekend on Friday with a game against Bucknell, then will meet Elon for two games on Saturday and will complete the trip with a game on Sunday afternoon against Radford. Princeton’s game with Bucknell will be its first against the Bison since the 1991 season and the Tigers will face Radford for the first time ever. Princeton last met Elon three seasons ago.

Share The 2010 schedule for the South Dakota State Jackrabbits has been announced. The 56 game schedule features 31 games away from Huether Field, including a 31 game road trip to begin the season.
The road slate begins with an opening weekend series at Murray State (Feb. 26-28) followed by a mid-week date at Nebraska (March 2) before a four game set at Air Force (March 5-7). The Jacks then visit Arkansas (March 9-10) for a two game mid-week set before taking part in the Metrodome Tournament (March 12-14) along with Harvard, Creighton, and Minnesota.

Share The Cal Golden Bears have unveiled their 2010 schedule. The season will begin with a four games in Berkeley against Southern Utah (Feb. 19-21) and UC Davis (Feb. 23) before the Golden Bears take part in the Cal State Bakersfield Tournament (Feb. 26-28). Also highlighting the non-conference schedule for the Bears is a four game weekend series at Rice (March 11-14) and a three game set at Cal Poly (March 19-21) as well as a home series against the Arkansas Razorbacks (March 5-7).

HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth College head baseball coach Bob Whalen announced the hiring of Jonathan Anderson as an assistant coach for the Big Green this year. He will work with the outfielders and help with the hitters and recruiting in his first year at Dartmouth.
Anderson joins the staff having spent the past two years coaching at his alma mater, Duke University, where he served as the first base coach. Not only did he coach the outfielders and oversee bunting, he also helped out with the hitters and base runners. Anderson was the director of the Duke Baseball Academy camps and managed the recruiting data base, plus assisted with academic development, compliance and travel.

Hank Coogan, a standout catcher/outfielder at Richmond, has joined the Princeton baseball staff as an assistant coach. Coogan was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team as a senior in 2008 when he led the team with a .364 batting average.
“We are thrilled to add Hank to our staff,” said Scott Bradley, the Robert H.B. Baldwin ’42 Head Coach of Baseball at Princeton. “Hank was one of those players we would face that I would always check up on during the season to see how they were doing. He had a great college career and we are looking forward to have him work with our players beginning this fall.”

Loren Gibbs of Charlotte has announced that assistant Brandon Hall has been promoted to Associate Head Coach after serving the past seven seasons with the 49ers. In addition, he has been the recruiting coordinator for the past five seasons. “Over the past seven years, Brandon has developed into one of the top assistant coaches in this region,” said Hibbs. “He has displayed a tremendous work ethic, an incredible desire to improve and a loyalty to our program and this institution that is unmatched. He fits with our overall program philosophy and has been a major factor in our success in recent years. Share Wake Forest new head coach Tom Walter has announced that he has hired Bill Cilento as an assistant coach. He comes over from Brown University where he spent the last three seasons. He brought the Brown Bears to the NCAA Tournament in 2007 where they led the Ivy League in every offensive category including winning the team batting average title by 39 points.
