Bradley signs Seven for 2010-2011 Season
PEORIA, Ill. - The Bradley Baseball program took advantage of the early signing period and will welcome seven new Braves to the squad in 2010-11. Of the seven new additions to the program, four are pitchers, three are junior college players and all seven hail from the Land of Lincoln.

SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State baseball program will hold its first-ever Red-Black World Series this week as it concludes its 2009 fall practice season. The series will consist of a trio of nine-inning contests over three days and is open to the public free of charge.
The three-game series will commence on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 2:00 p.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium. Subsequent contests are schedule for Friday (Nov. 20) at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday (Nov. 21) at 1:00 p.m. The team will have full batting practice and infield before each of the first two games with no batting practice prior to Saturday’s contest.

Share The CBB continues our countdown for the 2010 College Baseball season by checking in on the Top 100 Players in the country. We will be providing one player per day until we reach number 1.
We continue the list today with number 63 in our countdown with New Mexico junior catcher Rafael Neda. He is from Obregon, Sonora, Mexico and attended Amphitheater (Ariz.) High School. He has an outstanding high school career winning several awards including being named Kino Conference Player of the Year, All-American and All-State honors in 2007.

Utah signs Eight for 2011
SALT LAKE CITY – Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg announced the signing of eight student-athletes to National Letters of Intent. Five high school players and three junior college transfers will join the Utes next season. Coming from high school are Trey Nielsen (3B, Skyline HS, Utah), Cory Hunt (2B, Jordan HS, Utah), Ben Mordini (RHP, Cherry Creek HS, Colo.), Luke West (RHP, Juan Diego Catholic HS, Utah), Josh Alexander (OF, Mountain Pointe HS, Arizona) while James Brooks (SS/Utility, Cochise College, Arizona), Derek Christensen (RHP, SLCC, Utah) and Dustin Hobbs (RHP/Yavapai College) are the junior college transfers.

Austin Peay signs Nine to NLI’s
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Facing the loss of 11 seniors, including four pitchers, following the upcoming 2010 campaign, Austin Peay State University head baseball coach Gary McClure and his coaching staff had plenty of work to do on the recruiting trail. That work paid off, Wednesday, as nine players signed a letter of intent on the first day of the signing period.
