SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – The Gulf South Conference lost a member of its baseball alumni Monday afternoon when former Arkansas Tech first baseman and Ouachita Baptist assistant coach Ryan White sadly lost his life in a single car accident near Hernando, Miss. He was 27 years old.

Bill Burt of The Eagle Tribune reports that the Merrimack baseball program has canceled the annual trip to Florida after an alcohol incident last Friday night. The school is currently investigating the matter where they have not ruled out hazing.

LHP Scott Crook pitched a complete seven-inning game, and held defending NAIA champion Lubbock Christian to one run on six hits to salvage a 5-1 win in the nightcap of a double-header in San Angelo, TX.
