The Northeastern baseball team has released its 2009 schedule, and the Huskies will play a 53-game slate, 24 in the Colonial Athletic Association as they aim to return to the CAA Tournament.

The Huskies will open the season on Feb. 25 in Sarasota, Fla., against Eckerd College. Three days later, NU will play its annual exhibition game against the Boston Red Sox at the City of Palms Park in Fort Myers, Fla. Read the rest of this entry »

The University of Texas-Pan American baseball program announced its 2009 schedule on Tuesday (Dec. 20) which have the Broncs hosting 23 home games, competing in three regular season tournaments (the Al Ogletree Classic, the Whataburger Classic and the Notre Dame Classic) and the National Independent Tournament. All home games will be played at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.

December 16, 2008 – The Texas Collegiate League today announced the schedule for its sixth season. The 48-game campaign will open on Friday, June 5, with the regular season concluding on Saturday, August 8.

The season will kick off with the defending champion McKinney Marshals playing host to the Brazos Valley Bombers in a rematch of their tightly contested first-round playoff series last year. The next night, the Bombers will visit the Coppell Copperheads, last year’s runner-up and the 2007 TCL champion.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (December 16, 2008) – West Virginia University baseball coach Greg Van Zant has announced the 2009 schedule, which features 28 games at Hawley Field.

The Mountaineers’ 56-game schedule includes a compilation of competitive games and tournaments, including the inaugural BIG EAST/Big Ten Challenge that kicks off the regular season. WVU will begin the year facing Indiana on Friday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m. in St. Petersburg, Fla., before taking on other Big Ten foes in Minnesota, Illinois and Northwestern during the four-game trip. Chris Chernisky leads Niagara in 2009

The Niagara Purple Eagles have put out their 2009 schedule which includes games against teams from the Big 12, Atlantic 10, MAC among others. They will open the season on February 21st with a doubleheader at Richmond as they will finish the weekend set on the next day with a single game. They will then head down to Maryland for five games with three against Maryland-Eastern Shore and a doubleheader against Coppin State. The Purple Eagles continue their 14 game road trip the following weekend when they will travel to Manhattan Kansas for a four game set against the Big 12 power. They end the season opening roadtrip by taking part in the Villanova Baseball Classic where they will play Temple, St. Joseph’s, and the host Villanova. Read the rest of this entry »

We are now just little over two months away from opening day for Division I and for some Div II teams are a little over a month away. We are continuing to get 2009 College Baseball Schedules almost daily. Today, we have Bowling Green, Bradley, Bucknell, and Sacramento State. The Hurricanes, who will play at the newly renovated Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field this season, open the 2009 campaign on Friday, Feb. 20 against Rutgers.
