The Great Wall of China, the Grand Canyon and the Pyramids all belong in the category of “Things That Have to be Seen to be Believed.”

Add Stephen Strasburg to the list.

If you frequent this site, I suspect you’ve heard of the kid named Strasburg.  There’s talk he could be the greatest pitching prospect in the history of baseball. He throws upwards of 100 MPH with a filthy slider and curve ball. Oh, and he’s struck out 147 while walking 15 in 78 1/3 innings. Read the rest of this entry »

kylegibsonOur good friends over at Project Prospect recently did a profile on Missouri starting pitcher Kyle Gibson. (TCBB’s Profile) He is an interesting case as he has some outstanding talent but has struggled off and on during his collegiate career.Currently, Kyle is 2-1 with a 1.29 ERA in three starts totaling 21 innings pitched. He has an excellent slider but it can be difficult for him to control. We have some great video of Gibson which is embedded after the jump from his season in the Cape Cod League.
