The 2010 Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament will be played at Shreveport, LA’s Fair Grounds Field, Commissioner Duer Sharp announced today.

This year’s tournament will be played May 26-30, with the top four teams in each of the SWAC’s Eastern and Western Divisions qualifying for Conference postseason play.

Arkansas Pine Bluff pitcher Kevin Edwards died on Saturday evening after being involved in a single car accident. Edwards was driving on Interstate Highway 57 when he struck the wall and overturned.
