Arkansas Tech (20-17 overall, 8-6 GSC West) plated a run in the bottom of the third, but back came Ouachita Baptist in the top of the fourth by scoring five runs to grab a 5-1 lead.

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Chase Baran had his stuff working to help salvage a Gulf South Conference West Division doubleheader split Saturday afternoon as the 21st-ranked Ouachita Baptist baseball team dropped the opener, 7-6 to Arkansas Tech, but bounced back in a big way with a 14-1 victory at Tech Field.

Baran (8-1) surrendered a run on three hits — losing the no hitter in the bottom of the fifth. He finished with nine strikeouts and five walks.
