<p> Aaron Fitt of Baseball America is reporting that the NCAA Division 2 schools have voted by a 3/4 majority to cut the season from 56 games down to 50. This is an interesting development as it lessens the effects of increased travel for the schools and cuts down opportunities for the student athletes. </p>
