The Orange County Flyers hosted Jon Wilhite Night on Monday evening. The team donated all the proceeds from the game last night to Wilhite’s recovery efforts. Tyler Holt (Florida State) led the game off with a stand up double and stole third base on Canadian starting pitcher and sixth round draft pick of the Philadelphia Phillies, Steven Inch. The roster is headlined by shortstop and 2008 National Team member Christian Colon (Cal State Fullerton; Capey, Puerto Rico), and consists of five outfielders, six infielders, 10 pitchers, and one utility player. (CARY, N.C.) – Christian Colon (Cal State Fullerton) went 3-4 with a solo home run and three RBI for the Blue Team in its 6-1 victory over the Red Team, Tuesday, at the USA Baseball National Team (Collegiate) Trials in Cary, N.C.
