RINDGE, N.H. (February 10, 2009) – The Franklin Pierce University baseball team has been selected as the unanimous favorite in the Northeast-10 Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll, as announced Tuesday by the conference office. The Ravens collected all 13 first-place votes and finished with a perfect 169 points.

Ouachita Baptist and Mount Olive was suspended in the seventh inning with the score tied at 2. The teams will head back on the field at 11 am tomorrow to be followed by Tampa against Ashland, Franklin Pierce and Shippensburg, with the nightcap featuring Sonoma vs Central Missouri State.
