Team USA opens play on Friday with a game against Korea at 4:30 am eastern time. They have a perfect record this summer of 16-0 after winning Haarlem Baseball Week. We will take a look at some of the top hitters on the team and top pitchers for the squad for the FISU tournament.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Georgia Tech shortstop Derek Dietrich and Miami left-handed starting pitcher Chris Hernandez have been named the inaugural Pro-Line Athletic National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association’s Freshman Hitter and Pitcher of the Year recipients, as announced by the organization today.

ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia defeated Lipscomb 14-3 and Georgia Tech 8-0 to force a game 7 in the Athens regional Monday.
