Van Woert upped his record to 4-1 while Hartford reliever Zach Stefka picked up his first decision of the year to drop to 0-1. UConn will be back in action on Thursday when they visit Rutgers in a Big East match-up. The Hartford Hawks will head to UMBC for an America East series that starts on Friday. Tags: Hartford, UConnBoston College picked up a 6-5 victory over the Hartford Hawks in non-conference action on Tuesday. Ryan Hutchinson led the offense by getting two hits and driving in two runs. Senior Ted Ratliff pitched a complete game giving up five earned runs on eight hits. The Eagles are back in action on Wednesday at 3:30 when they visit Holy Cross. I might be attending if I can get my job to let me go. |
