The Okotoks Dawgs and the Melville Millionaires have been declared co-champions of the Western Major Baseball League.

The Okotoks Dawgs swept their series against the Moose Jaw Miller Express, 2-1, 10-5, and 5-4. Jeff Duda (Campbellsville) pitched a four-hit complete game in the first game, struck out 11. The regular season for the WMBL is over, and the playoffs start on Friday, July 31. The Okotoks Dawgs continue to lead the West Division with a 22-10 record.
