Kent State’s Tyler Martin suffered a severe eye injury on Saturday afternoon as he was playing with the Stark County Terriers after a freak accident. Martin was walking near the on-deck circle where an errant bat struck him near one of his eyes. He was rushed immediately to a nearby hospital which put him under surgery to repair the damage. He is currently still in the hospital and I have not received any word if the incident will affect his vision. Read the rest of this entry »
