Baseball America writer Aaron Fitt is reporting today that Oregon State lefthanded reliever Josh Osich will miss the 2010 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery. Baseball America had rated Osich as a possible first round pick before the injuries as he throws in the upper 90’s but has been inconsistent with his command.

Athens Banner-Herald writer David Ching has a fantastic article on Georgia freshman Chance Veazey. He got into a motor vehicle accident on October 28th when his motorscoter crashed into a car. Veazey suffered scrapes, bruises and punctured lung but the biggest injury was a spinal cord fracture which would leave him paralyzed.
