The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets picked up a victory on Tuesday with a 11-8 victory over Kennesaw State. Matt Wieters hit a three run homer in the bottom of the tenth inning for the walk-off victory for the Jackets. He also picked up the victory on the mound by pitching the ninth and tenth innings. He actually blew the save in the top of the ninth but made up for it in the tenth. The Jackets were swept this past weekend by Georgia Southern. The Yellow Jackets continue their homestand on Friday with a three game set with Illinois-Chicago. Kennesaw State will regroup and face off with a three game set at home with Western Carolina.
