Kaohi Downing – Point Loma Nazarene

#1 Oklahoma City swept a three-game series against Rogers State, and defeated Calumet. The Stars are now 22-1, but they get their first serious challenge of the season with a series at #17 Wayland Baptist March 15-16.

Lee’s Davidson pitches second consecutive no-hitter

LHP Mitch Davidson has pitched a total of ten innings this season, and has two no-hitters to show for it.

On Feb. 14, the Flames defeated Virginia Intermont 12-0, in a game shortened to five innings by the mercy rule. Davidson went the distance, struck out four, walked two.

Defending champion and #1-ranked Lewis-Clark State opens their season hosting a tournament with College of Idaho, Concordia-Portland, Corban, and Patten Feb. 13-16.

The Lee Flames opened their 2009 season with a four-game sweep of Illinois Tech.Senior LHP Mitch Davidson got a no-hitter in the third game, but it was a game that ended after five innings because of the mercy rule. Chris Warters had seven hits in the series.
