Share Kendall Rogers of Rivals.com recently put out his list of the Top Hitters during the 2000’s which is led by Dustin Ackley of North Carolina. He hit over .400 in each of his three seasons in Chapel Hill including playing in the College World Series during each season.

Share Louisiana State hosts the Baton Rouge Regional as the No. 3 national seed. The Tigers take on Southern in the opening game Friday at 1 p.m., and Baylor meets Minnesota in the nightcap at 6 p.m.
The losing teams from those games meet in an elimination game Saturday at 1 p.m., while the winners meet Saturday at 6 p.m. with a berth in the championship game on the line. Game times remain the same on Sunday, and if necessary, a seventh game will be played Monday at a time to be announced. Read the rest of this entry »
