FROM PRESS RELEASE FRISCO, Texas – The Southland Conference Baseball players of the week were named today by the conference office as senior outfielder Kevin Crabtree and UTSA right hander Bradley Chovanec each claimed their first weekly honors of the season. The University of Texas-San Antonio is hosting a great tournament on the opening weekend. Joining the Roadrunners this season is Army, Louisiana-Lafayette, Texas Tech, and Oral Roberts. The Red Raiders were a late addition to the tournament as Northern Illinois backed out of a three game set due to the tragedies on their campus last year.
