 Dustin Kim Seu Sooner Athletic Conference – at Shawnee, OK: The start of the tournament was delayed until Tuesday due to wet grounds.
Golden State Athletic Conference – at San Diego: #24 The Master’s defeated Azusa Pacific 6-5 (11 innings). #11 Fresno Pacific plays Biola and #3 Point Loma Nazarene plays Azusa Pacific on Tuesday.
Sun Conference – at Fort Myers, FL: In the second round, #7 Embry-Riddle defeated USC Beaufort 11-6; Brandon Roper-Hubbert went 4-5 with four RBI. Savannah College of Art and Design defeated Warner 5-0. Stephen Shackleford pitched a complete-game shutout for the Bees; he scattered eight hits, and struck out nine. He is 7-1, 2.73 ERA. Share Brent Lavallee The LSU-Shreveport Pilots, ranked #17 by Collegiate Baseball (#10 by CBB), had batting practice at the expense of the U. of Mobile Rams (#11 by Collegiate Baseball). They won both ends of a double-header at U. of Mobile, 14-8 and 22-1.
Senior C Brent Lavallee, of North Delta, BC, had a huge day for the Pilots. He hit five home runs and 27 RBI.
RHP John James of Tucson, a transfer from Utah, got the win in the first game, which was scheduled for seven innings. LHP Justin Ennis of Big Sandy, TX went the distance in the second game, shortened by the mercy rule to seven innings. Ennis held the Rams to three hits. Read the rest of this entry »

Share Lewis-Clark State swept a three-game series with Division II Dixie State, 4-3, 12-11, and 19-6. The Warriors have won nine straight. In the second game, Brian Ward hit a single with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to bring in the winning run; Michael Guerrero got the win to run his record to 3-0, 1.46 ERA. Ward hit a home run and had four RBI in the third game. The Warriors play a good College of Idaho team in mid-week, and play at Corban (Salem, OR) Friday and Saturday. Read the rest of this entry »
