ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington head baseball coach Darin Thomas announced the Mavericks 2010 schedule on Monday afternoon. UT Arlington’s schedule is highlighted by 13 games against eight teams that participated in the 2009 NCAA Tournament and 29 games at Clay Gould Ballpark.

PRINCE GEORGE, British Columbia — Rick Hague (Rice) went 3-4 with one of three U.S. home runs and Team USA defeated the host Prince George Axemen, 10-2, at the 2009 Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline World Baseball Challenge at Prince George Citizen Field.
The Axemen (2-2) got on the board in the bottom of the first inning with a double to right center by Darrin Doucette to take a short-lived one-run lead.

(TOKYO) – Matt Newman (Arizona State) went 3-5 with four RBI for Team USA, but Japan rode a six-run third inning on its way to a 7-5 victory over the U.S., Monday, in the second game of the 37th Annual USA vs. Japan Collegiate Championship in the Tokyo Dome.
Team USA scored two runs in the first inning on Japanese starting pitcher Yuki Saito. Matt Newman (Arizona State) hit an RBI single to centerfield to score Christian Colon (Cal State Fullerton) from second base and Andy Wilkins singled through the right side to bring in Newman for the early 2-0 lead. (DURHAM, N.C.) – Rick Hague (Rice) went 3-5 with two doubles and three RBI and Gerrit Cole (UCLA) pitched lights out for six and two-thirds innings to lead the USA Baseball National Team (Collegiate) to an 8-1 win over Team Canada at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park Friday night.
Tyler Holt (Florida State) led the game off with a stand up double and stole third base on Canadian starting pitcher and sixth round draft pick of the Philadelphia Phillies, Steven Inch. The roster is headlined by shortstop and 2008 National Team member Christian Colon (Cal State Fullerton; Capey, Puerto Rico), and consists of five outfielders, six infielders, 10 pitchers, and one utility player. (CARY, N.C.) – Christian Colon (Cal State Fullerton) went 3-4 with a solo home run and three RBI for the Blue Team in its 6-1 victory over the Red Team, Tuesday, at the USA Baseball National Team (Collegiate) Trials in Cary, N.C.

(CARY, N.C.) – Christian Colon (Cal State Fullerton) hit an RBI single in the bottom of the fifth inning as the Blue Team defeated the Red Team 2-0 in a seven inning intrasquad game on Sunday at the USA Baseball National Team (Collegiate) Trials.
With runners on the corners and two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning, Christian Colon (Cal State Fullerton) hit an RBI single to right field that easily scored Casey McGrew (Wright State) from third base. CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Lions jumped out to a big lead with seven runs in the first two innings, but it was the bullpen that came up big on Thursday for the Southeastern Louisiana baseball team (36-21, 22-13 Southland Conference) as the Lions held off a rally by the Northwestern State Demons (26-26, 18-15 SLC) to advance to day three of the 2009 Southland Conference Baseball Tournament with a 9-7 win on Wednesday morning.
