He hit .615 (8-13) as the Patriots won two of three at CAA foe ODU, including becoming just the second player in school history to hit for the cycle in Saturday’s 4-2 triumph. It’s week two of CAA baseball. Here’s a quick rundown of the teams in action this weekend. -Northeastern will hold its annual scrimmage with the Boston Red Sox Saturday at 1 p.m. in Fort Myers. -George Mason started the year 4-0 for just the third time in school history. The Patriots competed in the Courtyard by Marriott Baseball Classic in Spartanburg, S.C. Righty Kevin Crum (1-0 0.00) and second baseman Ryan Soares (.500-1-4) were named the all-tournament team. -UNC Wilmington started the season off with a three game sweep of Maryland at home.
