The next article comes from the student paper of Kent State which looks at some of the breakout performances of freshmen with the Flashes baseball team. The Apache Pow Wow (student paper of Tyler Junior College) reports that the baseball team has been kicked out of the conferenceĀ  at the end of the season. The Chronicle in Lewis County Washington is reporting that Centralia College will forfeit three games this weekend due to an altercation with Pierce College. They have won 4,010 games while the second place Texas Longhorns are nearly 900 victories behind with 3,117. The Williams and Amherst game on May 3rd will be brodcasted on national tv by ESPN U. The game will take place at historic Wahconah Park in Pittsfield MA. It will be the 150th annivarsary of the first intercollegiate baseball game in the country. Read the rest of this entry »
